Book Reservation Rules and Policy

1. Eligibility to Reserve

  • Only registered members of the library or school are eligible to reserve books.
  • Members must present a valid Student Identification Card or any official identification card when making a reservation.

2. Reservation Limit

  • Each member may reserve a maximum of three (3) books at a time.

3. Reservation Period

  • Reserved books will be held for a maximum period of three (3) days.
  • Unclaimed reservations after the 3-day holding period will be automatically canceled and made available to other members.

4. Claiming Reserved Books

  • All reserved books must be claimed at the library circulation counter.
  • Members are required to present their Student ID or valid identification card when claiming their reserved materials.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Members who wish to cancel their reservations may do so by logging in to their library account or by visiting the library in person.
  • Timely cancellation is encouraged to give other members the opportunity to borrow the materials.

6. Overdue Books and Fines

  • Books not returned on or before the due date will incur overdue fines in accordance with the library’s fee schedule.
  • Failure to settle fines or return overdue materials may result in the suspension of borrowing and reservation privileges.
